History
Founded in 1971 by Ed and Anne Cutts, Red Carpet Transport has been a staple in the trucking industry for over 35 years. Ed Cutts (Fast Eddy) began working in the trucking industry as a teenager, and after learning the ropes decided to go it alone and Red Carpet was born. Enjoying great success through the 70’s a subsidiary company: Bar-K Transport was launched and at its peak during the Oil Boom grew to nearly 100 trucks. When the energy crisis hit in the early 80’s, Eddy returned back to his roots providing a more personal, customer orientated service with emphasis on quality. Joined by their son Tom Cutts in 1992 the company once again began to grow and expand. With the addition in 2004 of Murray Fedunec, RCFS recently started a heavy haul division which specializes in the hauling of Oversized loads including, multi wheel low beds and Winch Tractor service throughout Canada and the United States. Today with its new division and subsequent name change, Red Carpet Freight Systems Ltd. has grown to almost 30 trucks and nearly 100 trailers while still continuing to deliver quality service and prides itself on offering a reliable and dependable environment for its customers.
